Letter of Agreement

With the goal to work for the advancement and recognition of the veterinary technology profession, the Canadian Association of Animal Health Technologists and Technicians (CAAHTT) and the North American Veterinary Technician Association (NAVTA) have entered into the following agreement.

On this day, the Executive Boards of CAAHTT and NAVTA resolve to:

  • collaborate on efforts to promote the veterinary technology profession
  • identify issues where the two assocations share common interests and work together to affect change
  • create a network for sharing information
  • support each other's mission statements...

CAAHTT Mission Statement   NAVTA Mission Statement
"The CAAHTT is dedicated to fulfilling the goal of professional recognition nationally and internationally through communication, direction, and support of the provincial AHT/VT associations."   "The mission of NAVTA is to represent and promote the profession of veterinary technology. NAVTA provides direction, education, support, and coordination for its members and works with other allied professional organizations for the competent care and humane treatment of animals."
